Well, considering that right now it's questionable whether Nylander can reach even that level ...

Is there such a species of hockey player in the NHL?

Also: What's this guy's deal? Ceiling? Comparable players/prospects?

His ceiling is 20g second line winger.

He scored a chunk of his goals on the power play last year so that's something to consider. Needs a AHL year most likely.

i don't think size is the impediment it used to be, or has been at various times.

he's listed as 5'10". i'm sure he's quite slight. maybe that's what a year in the A would be for.

His shot is probably second to Jack's in the entire organization. Need to get the rest of his game up to speed.

Bold prediction: Olofsson makes the Sabres by mid-season next year. He is fast, has really good hands and scores around the net.

Ales Kotalik when he was at his peak is what I see.

Not an amazing stickhandler but very good

Incredible shot

Likely will thrive either on PP1 or PP2

He could be on the PP opposite of jack and risto can just dish it either way with samson camped infront of the net.

O'Reilly just there to win face offs :P

And for a late round pick I will take a 3 - 4 year peak of Ales Kotalik.  That man was quite good for a short bit of time in Blue and Gold.

We have no clue how Olofsson will pan out.    Stick him Roch until he proves he's too good for that league... if that ever happens who knows... but the more of these guys in the system the better... eventually they will hit.

He is not to small. You could compare this guy with William Karlsson, Victor will make it.

I would be supprised if your prediction is wrong.

Looks like one of Murray's "this guy doesn't look like much, but has a high ceiling" reaches might actually pan out. We need more of his 3 years worth of picks to do likewise as 1 7th rounder making it won't make up for a 1st round bust. Hope Nylander figures it out, but not very hopeful.
