I think he was a brilliant 'hockey guy' and did a lot of great things for the game.

 

Only one blemish in my opinion and we all know what that is.

I loved hating Ottawa and Murray after that brawl. Cheers Murray, you're a hell of a guy and an awesome hockey personality.

I don't view the Brawl as a blemish or what happened before. I think it is one of those moments in an era that helps define it.

This was not the 1970s with the Big Bad Bruins and Broad Street Bullies.  Murray sent out a POS to run our captain and star player.  A blemish on his record, if you ask me.
