Saw three goalie interference reviews tonight. While it was happening I thought how stupid it was, yet, one of the three was overturned. Thought they got all of them right in the end.

So. I like it.

I've watched enough games this year now that didn't have the Sabres as a combatant to realize one thing: This new wide open, fast skating, uptempo NHL is fudging boring.

If I want to watch bag skates, I'll go to a f'n practice

Give interference. Give me tight checking. Give me hitting any day.

At least something happens in those games.

I'll take the tight checking and the hitting, but I like the game better w/o the interference.  I loved 2006-07 style hockey.

As inconsistent as the Sabres start has been, at least there is hope.

Montreal looks like roadkill.

As in Montreal, one of the teams the Sabres looked good against and got a point.

I can't tell if I am mad at Murray for not taking him. Or laughing at Montreal for trading him... you know what, laughing at Montreal.

This all day long... ALL DAY LONG.  Montreal has to be close to a change at the GM position... has to be.

Tampa Bay has a tougher decision to make with Sergachev than most teams do with 19-year-olds.  If he stays with Tampa Bay, they no longer receive Montreal's second-round pick.

Then there's the usual stuff about burning a year of the ELC, etc.

But yeah, Bergevin is not looking good.

Stays with Tampa past his 9 games? This is easy, take the pick

rakish is correct, but barring injury, is there really any situation where he stays up but isn't in the lineup for 40 games?  They're not going to burn a year of ELC to have him sit.

Yes.  But again, this is really a choice between 9 games and 82 games.

Go to the dump and find yourself a curved sword. Then huff some paint. Actually huff the paint first, that should make it easier to ignore the smell of the dump.

Poor wording on my part. They have 20,200 in Cap Space without the deal.

Will go over without moves being made first

Remember how I was all in on Slavin? Watch this guy making plays against the Oil.

We need to find a guy like him somewhere in the draft.

McDavid is pretty good: http://www.sportingn...ok15xie9flrh98y

I was there last night. Lower bowl. Beautiful play. And know what else he did? Shyte. He floated and was invisible most of the night until th ot pp. and the he got lucky. He is a phenomenal talent. But what Jack did tonight was far more than McD did last night. I think we need to realize they are both really good. And both do not go 110% on every shift. I like McDavid alot but I am seeing Jack in a new light. Jack is a very good player too.

Montreal is so bad that...they actually gave up not one but TWO goals to Grant! If it wasn;t for the fact that the Habs played us for their only win they probably would be 0-for he season right now. Strange...
