Ehlers Scheifele Laine

Perreault Little Wheeler

Matthias Lowry Armia

Copp Petan Stafford

Morrissey Buff

Enstrom Trouba

Chiarot Postma

Hellebuyck Hutchinson

Helle is starting in net...I would say high glove side and rebounds are his biggest weaknesses.

Neither Postma nor Chiarot have any right being in an NHL uniform as far as I am concerned.

Ehlers has been very good as of late.

Trouba has 8 points in last 10 games, Ehlers has 11, Laine has 11 and Wheeler has 9.

These guys always play us hard. This would be the perfect game for Dan to have us come out slow and give up a quick goal or two.

So much for games in hand on the Bruins. Leafs and Sens hold the 2 and 3 spots in the division. Oh what could have been with Austin and Babcock.

I suppose Toronto deserves it after so many years of suffering

Yeah, and after getting behind a goal or two,  Dreary Dan can  then slow things down a bit and play 'prevent' to help protect the behind.  lol

I suppose Toronto deserves it after so many years of suffering

The Leafs started rebuilding after us - it's not possible for them to be ahead of us.  Our pain and suffering was behind - but Toronto certainly had several years more to endure.  This has to correct itself.   I expect at the end of the season, the Buffalo Sabres will have more points and wins than Toronto.  Any other outcome just can't be possible!

Yes, but they aren't very good.  They're like 7-11 hot dogs.

Yes, but they aren't very good.  They're like 7-11 hot dogs.

Has anyone ever had a Bell Center Hot Dog?

The league raves about them and I'm wondering if it's justified.

Yes. But nachos are, of course, the premier hockey food.

If you have spent anytime in amateur rinks across the continent you will know that the premier hockey food is a nearly frozen soft pretzel, with mustard, and a hot chocolate chaser. ;)

Well, the cinnamon powdered ones at auntie Anne's, but does that count? That's hardly a pretzel at all.

Had amazing nachos in Pittsburgh at a Pens game two years ago. Cheese, pulled pork BBQ, and jalapeƱos piled on top. It was beyond great.

My girlfriend was completely enamored with the nachos and the hockey game experience...I made her my wife based on the data point (Ok and a few others)

Listening to an interview with Staf and he is talking about how playing his first year and being around players like Briere and Drury and seeing how they carried themselves had a big influence on him.

Drury doomed Stafford to a lowly life of boy-manism with his sour, judgemental face.

Briere? Stafford thought his hair was cool.

Blech. I should've said dour, not sour. I'm all rusty.

I'll say it again: why can't the Sabres invite someone from Canadian Forces for the anthem?

The Pit BBQ beef sandwiches at Canes games almost make it worth attending.
