Do you sometimes wish you had named it Sabresbook instead?

That's what my wife calls it. I'll sometimes refer to it as some combination of MySabreInstaTwitBookChat. Usually when I say something like, "we were talking about the pope on ...".

Believe it or not, SabreSpace was not named after MySpace. SabreSpace was my suggestion to SDS and he liked it. I had used the term SabreSpace on another site circa 2000/2001 before MySpace was launched. It was the title of a page of Sabres-related links. http://web.archive.o.../sabrespace.htm

That's not to say that the popularity of MySpace didn't enter the thought process.

It never occured to me to think that Sabrespace might be named after myspace.  I always just made the cyber space = sabre space connection.

Were you even allowed to use the internet yet when myspace was popular?  And that's not a jab at you, but at how long ago it was when that site was somehow popular.

Myspace wasn't around until 2003, and was popular 2005-2008. So yeah, he was using the Internet via the Fisher Price portal. :)

So is that your Zhitnik fan site linked on the page?

I had a myspace in middle school.  So did my middle school band   Anybody who thought it was a good idea to autoplay music on every single profile page deserves a special place in hell.
