What I like most about this final that its pretty much offense VS defense.

Penguins defense is bare, and Nashville gets most of its offense from their defenders.

Will be interesting to see if crosby and malkin can do something about the predators D.

I'm all in for the Preds. They really impressed me with the Chicago series. If only the Sabres had their D! Rinne has been an absolute rock too. A lot to like about them.

My first (and maybe only?) chance to attend a Cup final in person. Nashville has gone hockey mad, so I expect a super-charged atmosphere in Bridgestone Arena for Game 3 and 4. Should be around 10,000 watching on the big screen outside of Bridgestone Arena for Game 1 in Pittsburgh tomorrow. Win or lose it was a great season for the Preds.

Laviolette puts on 50 pounds for each team he takes to the Final, in hopes people would stop focusing on his bad hair.

Laviolette has done a masterful job shuffling the lines from series to series and when injuries occurred. What he put out there after Johansen and Fisher went down was completely different from what I expected but it worked.

So Pittsburgh's still not happy with the Crosby treatment in the playoffs. I'm sorry, for some reason I just don't feel sorry for him. All-Stars don't deserve better treatment, if anything they are getting favoritism. As soon as they're treated like everybody else, I might care.

I hope you get stuck in the sinkhole with Belichick and he open-mouth kisses you.

...not that there's anything wrong with that.

ha First thing I thought of when I read your post.

I've got the Pens in 6 with no confidence at all. Even with the Preds blue line, I don't think they can handle Crosby and Malkin, and I think Rinne is due for a collapse.

Go out and ###### take it!  ...solid life advice.

The Pittsburgh crowd is very tame compared to the crowds down here in Nashville.  They're too used to winning, I think.

This is what the NHL wanted. On purpose. To make us look at a players skate for 10 minutes.

No clue how they could tell if his skate was actually off the ice from what I saw. Totally inconclusive. But it's Pittsburgh, so gotta reverse the goal. ###### horseshit!!!

Beyond needs to go.  Complete bs on that.  Goal should've stood.  His skate was not clearly off the ice.  Can't believe in a Stanley Cup Final the refs had a call so borderline reversed.

they call those millimeters in.... everywhere actually.

Preds getting hit from behind a bunch early on with no calls.

Already getting an idea of how officiating will go in this Stanley Cup Final.  Complete joke.

Literally told a friend I was turning the game off if the goal was over ruled.  I didn't turn it off...
