I think it is safe to say that hopefully we will see the younger guys getting a chance moving forward (Bailey, Fasching, Baptiste, Casey nelson and Brady Ausitn who went to the same high school as my kids among others) and maybe find a way to lose aging vets that don't really add much like Moulson, Bogo, Gorges and Gionta.

So, who is the next Captain??? Probable between jack and Ryan O although I have heard other people mention other players. Is it time for Jack or is he too young? Would it help or hurt his development? OReilly is what he is and I think it is safe to say the "C" would not change him nor hurt him as a player...

I thought it was made very clear last week that Tim Murray would be making this decision.

At this time I would go with ROR.

Why is Risto never in the "C" conversation?

He seems kind of like a quiet guy. Not a loner, per se, but not necessarily a leader.

This is pure conjecture.

Could be, I don't know either.  From what I've read, he's ultra-competitive and takes hockey seriously (even in practice).  He doesn't shy away from anyone and is pretty scrappy.  Plenty of great Finnish/Swedish captains in recent NHL history.
