Do chickens have individual personalities?

Cats do, so I don't see why not.

I'm sure you can buy them up in Lake Placid at the complex (and probably every other store in the town). I have a T-Shirt that says " Barcelona Olympics 1992" that was definitely made in the last 5 years. Its a retro thing.

I'd totally buy some of the old bills sweatshirts from the '90s if they remade them.

I saw Zubaz for sale not long ago, you better get some now in case they do so you have the entire outfit.

Just got a pair for my birthday, haha

As a weird side note, I'm actually wearing that Barcelona shirt today w/o realizing it.

I was following a car this morning that had a license plate holder that said "Lake Placid, NY 1980. Olympic Winter Games". It clearly wasn't 35 years old though (could any license plate holder last that long anyway?). Why would they be making a product like this at least 30 or so years after the event? It kind of seems odd to me.

The museum at the Herb Brooks arena sells all sorts of new reproduction 1980 Olympics merch. My 2001 Buick featured a 1980 Olympics bumper sticker until I sold it.

Nothing will ever top the "Dukakis 1988" sticker I saw on a car in Boston 4 or so years ago.  I doubt there's a retro shop anywhere selling those.

Australia once waged a war against emus, aptly named the Great Emu War. They sent out a squad of soldiers, and killed thousands of emus in ambushes and tactical plans, though they somehow lost a soldier.

The Austrian army once fought itself. Camped outside of some town, the Austrian leader sends a large portion of his troops over a river, into the woods as a preliminary force. The scouting troop finds a camp of travelers getting drunk, and decides getting drunk is way cooler than getting shot. Well, they managed to do both. You see, the Austrian retinue, back at the original camp, hears the drunkenness, and believes his troop under attack. So, he sends the remaining force over, and proceeds to open fire on the camp, where his soldiers are. The soldiers in the camp, confused, fire back. These guys were so drunk and so dumb, they killed 10,000 Austrians, themselves.

It just feels like an odd souvenir to me.  They're cool when they're actually from that very day, but that's all lost with re-issues.  That and the only big present day souvenir seller should be blatantly obvious.... that big win over Finland. :w00t:

AT&T can be easy to toy w/. They billed me 8 extra, so I went online to get that corrected. Didn't take too long, but I am now paying 32 less a month for the plan I originally signed up for. How do you like them apples?! Time to have a cold one.

My house is currently broken. The high voltage power is down, or at least mostly down. HVAC, fridge, laundry, all that good stuff. Have a bit of flickering in spots too.

No, based on the way it acts in the absence of power, it's kind of freakinf me out. Constant warning beeps.

I get the feeling that my tv may have kicked the bucket too. It's a little older and I've never seen it do what it was doing when I got home, crazy constant clicking sound.

Ignore the beeps; they are designed to inform you the fridge is no longer receiving power. (No Schlitz Sherlock.)

Good luck w/ the TV. Sure you're already doing this, but unplug it for a while and plug it back in when power is restored and see what happens.

It's the lazy workers actually. The stuff the power guys found buried as they were digging up the power line was interesting. Rather than clean up their junk, they just bury it.

Now who follows up with a question about buried junk in my yard?
