I was thinking about throwing a small party at my house, but it's my anniversary this weekend so I never really got around to planning. I'd save "Pie's Preposterous Playoff Pirogi Party" for the hockey playoffs, but all the games are on cable so I can't get any of them on Gamecenter.

As it stands, the Chinese New Year parade in Philly is Sunday, then dinner I'm guessing.

I'm going to be playing hockey. I expect a skeleton crew game, and lots of craning the necks to see the TVs in the upstairs bar at the rink. I plan to be bombarded by post-game highlights and commercials and wrapups on social media afterwards anyways.

Torn. Would love to see Peyton Manning win another ring so his haters would STFU, but also cheering for beastmode.

Rooting for Peyton Manning and Peyton Manning alone; any other QB and I'd be rotting for the Seahawks

Wake me up when the Bills are in it again.

I think that'd be legally classified as a coma

With the Bills being years away from contention, I love the SB for what it is: An annual mid-winter excuse to get together with some friends so that we can eat and drink the stuff that we're/I'm supposed to moderate every other day of the winter.

Annual Super Bowl party at a friend's house. I'm cheering for Peyton, err I mean the Broncos, all the way. My favorite current player in any sport and one of my favorites of all time. I want him to finally shut up his critics.

I've got 14 coming over. I've got 8 pounds of wings and two extra large pizzas. Others are bringing cheese potatoes, sandwiches, carrot cake and two different cheesecakes. Mix all that with a 24 of Keith's and I'll be lucky to be alive on Monday. Looking forward to it though!

I love flea. I hope that other guy can't make it so it's just the Chili Peppers. And I hope they play a song from either One Hot Minute or Blood Sugar Sex Magik.

My dad is throwing a huge party where we all drink lots and lots of beer and eat half our body weight in wings. They have a massive L-couch in the basement and we might wanna wrap it in plastic or something...

Go Seahawks, Beayst Mode.

I'm going to have a few people over to my man cave for the game and the weather looks good in Raleigh for an outdoor viewing. On the menu will be smoked beef brisket. I'm going to attempt a whole packer on a 12-14 hour overnight smoke. Beef brisket is one of the more difficult cuts to get right, and I've been disappointed with my past efforts on my weber smoker. However ever since I got a big green egg this summer my confidence has grown to the point where I'm going to give it a go again. Plus I promised my brother in law that I'd make him some brisket when he gave the egg to me.

Go Broncos!

Going off memory from what they put up partway through the fourth, but if they had let Wilson take the last few plays and he had taken them the last fifteen yards or so for the touchdown, it would have been the largest margin of victory ever, right?

And as such, I didn't have much interest in watching. When it was apparent things weren't going Denver's way (second quarter), I took the dog for a long walk. Got back at the end of the third quarter and I was glad I spent the time with the dog.

That one reminded me of Superbowls past where one team had a decent start to the game, then the other would come back and blitz the H out of their opponent and win by 30. The only difference here was no decent start at all. This one was all Seattle, all the time.

I wanted to throw a small shindig, but didn't get the time to get everything together. Good thing...
