He's been terrible since the new year. Lots of posters have been praising his play, idk why. Maybe they only watch the offensive end of the ice because he's been our worst D in 2014.

Maybe the same people praising Hodgson?

Plus two 1st rounders? Until you understand what a fair trade is, I'm going to post equally absurd trades leaning toward the other team so you can see what it looks like.

Rather than giving a sarcastic reply give actual reasoning...... Ehrhoff can be a great d-man as we saw there. Grigo was a 1st rounder 2 years ago.... Neither are garbage

His O hasn't been the problem. I wonder if when Pegula ordered Darcy to sign him, if Terry bothered to watch Ehrhoff on his own zone. He's decent with no duress...

He is our best all-around defenseman and is top-30 in the league in ice time. He is bound to screw up every once in a while, but we don't have anyone better than him on the back end right now (for better or worse).

Maybe they retired the slug uniform too soon. This team would be a perfect fit for them. Slow, untalented, hacks that leave nothing behind but a smear.

IMHO, Myers and Pysyk (when here), are both better in there own end than 10. He makes very questionable plays around the net.

McCabe, Pysyk, Zadorov, Myers, Ristolainen, Ehrhoff.... I gotta keep chanting that every time I see some of these defensive plays.

Anyone else think Rhuwedel has looked relatively good these games?

However he's a very good offensive defenseman, he's not supposed to be a team's #1 dman. #2 or 3 with top PP time is what he's great for

Ehrhoff is an above average Dman due to his shot on the PP and outlet passes. He won't clear the crease and gets lost down low often. He has a nice cap hit but is under contract until I die. Not every team want that type of burden. Grigs is a non-entity at this point and is worth a toilet of poop. If you want O'Reilly be prepared to trade Myers, Girgensons or Hodgson.

Rudy plays a solid game, but is pretty small for an NHL defenseman (5'10 180 or so). With monsters like Zadorov and Risto in the lineup (in a few years) I wouldn't mind a smaller guy like Rudy in there too.

However Grigo would be worth the most in theory to the only coach who've been successful with him and Ehrhoff may put them over the top. This all contingent on OReilly and the Avs still have hard feelings which is honestly the most important question.

The Avs would laugh when the Sabres said "but Grigorenko was really good with Patty coached him in the Q." That's completely irrelevant.

I agree with the Wookie. Grigorenko COULD have value to ROY and that is a big COULD. Ehrhoff would not put them over the top (unless you mean trade wise). If Roy thinks Grigs can work out in Col then I could see them trading O'Reilly for Ehrhoff and Grigorenko. It makes some sense. That being said it will not of course happen.

Just got home; it was 2-0 when I left, and 2-1 on the radio. I can see the goal later, what I want to know, is, why NBC thinks Weber should be suspended. What happened?

Engblom used to have the ugliest helmet in the league. Now probably the ugliest mane.

Lets see if I can find that eggcrate he used for a bucket.

He came across and put a shoulder into a caps face in front of the net as the puck was cycled behind the net. he was called for interference on the play. the guy had a bloody nose afterwards.
