Thats what it looks like

Either that or its the Edmonton Oilers Rebuild Tank, although I think that thing would move much quicker then the rebuild of the Oilers...........

After these outdoor games, not sure if I can take any more of the NBC clowns.

Yeah hopefully Pierre is a healthy scratch tonight. Last week, I forget the game, goes to shootout, some rookie tries a slick move and it's saved. "____ is gotta learn that move doesn't work in this league". Patronizing prick. And his suck up to the stars/veterans, over-hype "unbelievable" on and on. It's truly awful.

I can't wait to listen to the game tonight! 3 Hours of non stop no holds barred Pittsburgh Penguin ball licking.
Tonights drinking game is brought to you by liquor. Liquor because when listening to an NBC broadcast, beer isn't fast enough.
Drink every time the following is mentioned/happens on the Broadcast:
"Shaaauuuwwgghtt!!!" is yelled
Tim Murray and the "job he has ahead" is discussed
How amazing the Pens are at home
How amazing Sidney Crosby is
How bad the Sabres offense is
How bad the Sabres defense is
How bad the Sabres are
How if they were from Buffalo this team would be an embarrassment
How Ryan Miller is being traded
They show Enroth on the bench so they can talk about him even though it has nothing to do with the game
A story begins "I remember the time..." at it involves some nostalgia bs most of us dont care about
Ryan Miller and Olympics
Sidney Crosby and the Olympics
AND
When Crosby's goal on Miller in the Olympics is mentioned, finish your drink.

Liquor, helping you survive the NBC broadcast crew since 2006.

Plus Milbury spending the intermission talking about how Scott and Konopka do not belong on a NHL roster.

I think it doesn't matter too much re: Edmonton. They have to take Ekblad (or another defenseman), so we'd still get our pick of the top forwards. That is unless a third team wins the draft lottery and bumps us down a spot...

That's the key. We want the 1st or 2nd pick. Nothing less.

That looks like the crawler they use to move stuff like the space shuttle to the launch pad at Cape Canaveral.

That's what it is and that's where it is. Outside the VAB at the Cape.

The pic I posted was somebody's digital art. Doubtful if it was even from a video game, although that looks like it'd be a fun video game, like a mega-version of Battle Tanks for 64.

O yea add that to the list... if anyone does this and makes it to the beginning of period 2 I will be shocked.

That's the key. We want the 1st or 2nd pick. Nothing less.

I'd take pick 1-3 as long as Edmonton is 1 of the teams drafting in front of us because they almost have to take Ekblad.

My bet for the Dark Horse: Brian Engblom complimenting either Tyler Myers of Christian Ehrhoff in the intermission report.

Keep in mind we have two guys on the inside on NBC: Brian Engblom played for the Sabres in '85 and usually will go out of his way to compliment some part of the Sabres' game. Liam McHugh (the new kid) went to UB and Syracuse and will usually go out of his way to not agree with Milbury if Milbury trashes Buffalo/Sabres.

I'd take pick 1-3 as long as Edmonton is 1 of the teams drafting in front of us because they almost have to take Ekblad.

No you're right! But do we care if we take the first or second forward in the draft? Don't we want the choice?

Much like how Milbury doesn't belong on TV, or in a GM's office.

I'm still aiming for 1. If Edmonton gets it they should take Ekblad (but stranger things have happened so I'd rather not take the chance). Atleast with a top 3 pick it leaves the two Sam's but as you said, I certainly want the choice. One reason we brought Tim Murray in here is his ability to draft. He's had numerous interviews talking about implementing his drafting techniques so I want him to have the choice at that pick. I can't decide who I want them to take but I'm sure he has a much more educated opinion on the mater.

Yep, they do. NBCSN/NBC/NHL Network get priority over local broadcasts. Although I could have sworn one of the Flyers game down here was on Comcast sports and blacked out on NBCSN.

I'm surprised that RJ doesn't take these games off if he wants to run a limited schedule.

At least NBC has their backups in tonight since their 'stars' are taking the night off from a long weekend.

It is really sad to see how far away they are player-wise from being competitve. They are being out hit, out muscled, out worked, out shot, out of everything except the score.

Pitt gets 4 SOG on their PP and almost 2m of zone time. Buffalo barely gets the zone and gets no shots on their PP.
