C'mon. The team stinks, and will stink for a while. Taking a genuine human interest in the young man's call-up is a no-brainer - especially given his interview in which he said he cried when talking to his parents about the news.
Hell ya!! Good for everyone involved regardless of the motive. This guy has paid his dues for a long time. Of course there's a reason why. But Hockey Heaven just gave him and his family inspiration! How in this season anyone can see anything wrong with that is beyond me.
Way to go Varone. Welcome to the NHL! You should have scored on your first chance and didn't. We'll give you a few more games to show something if you got it. You have earned that amount of respect from us for all the effort you've given. If you end up being sent down so be it but you have photographs and video of YOU in the NHL.
I mean if we can utilize your Matt Ellis, Kevin (or according to opening night scoreboard Kyle) Porter and Flynn and Scott and and and you certainly deserve you're call up. Thank you for hanging in there and persevering. Own your moment and congrats!
This is where I'm at. Its what every kid into hockey dreams about. He's worked his a$$ off for this. Its coming true for him. I hope it lasts.
AHHHH this f'n software! Well to sum up my recreated thought's, good for you Varone. Enjoy the moment. It is a dream achieved. Congrats to you and thank you for all your efforts.
The original post had so much more. Sigh.
