Zemgus is playing for Latvia.  If I read that right, you can only see the game online.  This Sunday at 1:15

Edit:  I think it's actually 1:15 AM Monday tape delay.

I am hyped about Zemgus. Studding it up in the AHL playoffs, and now another great opportunity to grow in the WC. With a season of suffering ahead I hope they give him a crack at the NHL next season.

ZG has made tremendous progress this year and was almost undoubtedly the best Amerks player in the Toronto series.  Love his attitude after - not focusing on the amount of points he amassed but on the fact that he could have done more.  I think McCormick and Ellis were very good influences on him. My guess is that he starts in ROC next year but earns his way into a mid-season promotion.

That would be Sarah Douglas.  Keep in mind we're referencing Superman II (the one where the kids falls into the Falls) from 1980, so...

Totally agree.  When asked if he felt good about getting three goals, he replied with something like "We lost, there's nothing to feel good about."  Love it.

The picture I found with General Zemgus was actually retweeted by Zemgus himself last June, two weeks before the Draft. He is aware of his great responsibility under our Yellow Sun.

I'm at a wedding today and my friend is flying out to Finland for tge tournament tomorrow after all of this. Lucky him.

I'm actually surprised girgensons is playing. Was he a last second addition to the team with the amerks losing? My friend works for one of his former leagues and as of two days ago didn't think he was playing.

He didn't play today, so maybe I have it wrong and he won't be added to the roster. A mistake by Ted Nolan ...
