Season series: This is the third and final meeting. The Jets prevailed in each of the first two showdowns and have won five straight overall in the series.

After what happened against the NYR I wonder how this team will come out against Winnipeg. I am not sure they can succeed.

If the Jets have any chance to make the postseason they HAVE to win tonight. Do they show up in a must win game like the Sabres on Friday or do they come out flying?

It's almost over, it's almost over. I actually carried my 2 lower level center ice tix with me all day yesterday just waiting to bump into a worthy father to take his kid. I gave them away and the expression on the father and daughter' face was a far bigger reward than I would have had going.....

This will be the first game I miss this season for lack of interest. Tell Darcy I'm done. The thought of not seeing the Sabres in the playoffs for the next 2-3 seasons kills me. Add that to the last 15 years of mostly futility and non playoff appearances and that adds up to one long stretch of crap product that Darcy has sold us. TP must have drank the fracken water. I've generally tried to stay away from insulting TP but Terry, when it comes to hockey matters you are one stupid/stubborn sob. For all the good you've done the city of Buffalo you've dragged this franchise through the mud with your decision to keep DR. Hows that working out for ya ? Dumb ass.

As always, Go Sabres !

Well, the Sabres have nothing to play for and Winnipeg's season is on the line, so all signs point to a Jets win here.

Which means it's time for another one of the Sabres' patented meaningless late-season wins.

6-2 Buffalo.

At what time on the clock should we start a "Ryan Miller" chant to show appreciation?

Honestly at this point I'm so accustomed to the garbage points that I could probably enjoy the win.

I completely agree. I also don't think it's going to happen. Rolston surely wants to show he's an NHL coach even if he isn't with the Sabres, and each win helps that.

Yeah, no joke.

I know that if I were him I would let this year play itself out to it's pathetic finale then fire everybody on the staff related to the performance of the team and Kevin Sylvester as soon as humanly possible. So perhaps he is silently sitting in the dark somewhere nourishing the internal flame of hatred awaiting the great purge.

Time will tell.

LOL I like the reference to the totally demoted Sylvester.
