But now still no post.  Are you not excited to make a run for draft spot nr 10-14?

Nah i am just kidding, i believe we loose this game 2:1.

Maybe i will watch it tomorrow recorded as whole game.

What Ruff should have done when the Veterans were not playing with any heart.  The young guys are hustling and hitting.  Stafford is scared for his job and is starting to skate, still want him gone, but I like the moxy of this team.  They resemble OTT much more than Pommenville.  Now, all they need is guys with this attitude who can also drop the puck in the net.

NJD offense is struggling lately, with 6 straight losses, including just 1 goal in the last 2 games combined.

I could care less about draft picks -  because old 17 Year Regier is doing the picking - you realize, at this stage, his finger prints will sadly be all over this team for at least a quarter of a century.   Again, the draft is meaningless unless the right choices are made- Buffalo Bills have had great draft pick positions for years, and look where it's got them?

I want Buffalo to win as many games as possible before the end of this very short season.   Hoping for a big win tonight!  :)

I don't think that is true at all.  The Bills and Sabres have been very similar in that regard. Both have been bad enough to not be contenders, yet not bad enough to get the premium draft positions.

The surge to 9th continues unabated today.  Watched Jersey last night.  They are bereft of scoring.  Should be evenly matched.   So the Amerks, driving toward the playoffs in two different leagues keep hope alive.

A New Jersey team in a downward spiral means 2 more points for our glorious run to 9th place.

Dammit. These guys can't even get losing right. This run will continue if Jersey plays like they have been and the Sabres continue to play sound defensive hockey. I've grown to like the thought of a top 3 pick developing in the Sabres system but I think its a pipe dream now as I get the feeling these guys are finally showing some pride and seem to want to prove everyone including management wrong.

As always, GO SABRES !

How lovely it is to show all of these great characteristics when it's too damn late to really matter.  Showing some pride and gumption when the pressure is really on would be a welcome change.  These heroic end of season runs are just rinse and repeat mediocrity.  Not impressed.

Imo these late season runs are actually just 1 more character flaw in a Darcy Regier team. Play like this all season dammit !

As always hoping for a big win.

I believe the Sabres get the win tonight.

Last season I wanted them to crap out so that DR and LR would be gone.  One out of two ain't bad, but seems like DR is staying for now.  So, I'm off that wagon.  Just win, baby.  No matter how, just do it.

GO SABRES!!

Well, if New Jersey is on a losing streak, they'll probably win. Haven't we ended just about everyone's losing streak? We even ended a winning streak. We're just the streak enders.

I am torn, very torn. I like seeing the guys play with heart win or lose,  the exciting games keep me in it, we need more talent, sure, but id take a game like the Ottawa game any night even if we lost.

I'd love a Kaleta, Ott, Clarkson line next year pepper in john Scott to be extra mean, then teach the giant beanstalk to hit..... Weber buckles things down and Psysk and Pardy look pretty good.

We may not be an epic offense, but this team would be a major pain to play against.

Damn me and this optimism, but it's 2,im drinking and happy today, also went to the zoo this am, don't know why that makes me happy, maybe I'm high on life, so I will remain torn but if we play with fire then I will not root against this team.

Uhm, Aaron Maybin????????

The Bills draft choices over the last decade have been horrible.   Again, you need quality talent selection personnel to use the draft picks that are available - and there's no real evidence that 17 Year Regier is up to the task at hand even given great draft picks.

Maybin was drafted 11th overall.  The Bills usually draft around 10th overall, just like the Sabres lately.

But, yes, the Bills do draft horribly.  (They do everything horribly.  They're the only pro sports team in North America that I can think of that sells their home games to another city each year.)

Jacksonville is slated to have 4 games overseas starting in 2013 in London, the Rams were scheduled to have games in London in 2013 and 2014, but pulled out to work on renewing their lease. You will see more teams following suit and I'd much rather have the Bills play 100 miles away from home, instead of 3,000 miles away. Plus a large number of Bills fans are from the Toronto area.

So the two teams that are doing this now just happen to be the two teams rumored to be on the move the most?  That's reassuring.

There's also a pretty obvious competitive disadvantage when you're doing this.  Who wants to play/coach for the NFL team with 7 home games each season versus all the other home teams with 8 home games/year?  Eric Wood was exactly right when he went off on this idiotic plan.

I have no problem with Miller starting; he is the #1 after all and has the been playing well.

After watching various games from east and west since the trade deadline, I think the Sabres defense looks pretty good with the most recent lineup. Let's hope they keep the good play...excepting those who want the Sabres to tank.

Enroth's last 4 games.......... .931, .970, .941, .921. Those first three came before Miller even posted those games you mentiond. Next time you don't like something I say, simply move on to the next post. It really is that simple. Sorry for you internet forums can't all be unicorns and flowers where everything that is said is in line with your opinion.
