"Where our hockey club is right now, we have to be open to listening to just about anything and everything," Regier said. "I have talked to all 29 GMs over the last week, and I'll continue to try to figure out ways that we can get better not just for the rest of this year but, more importantly, for the future."

So he wants the Sabres to lose?

My only solace is that it's almost over.

Umm..hopefully.  That's where I'm at.  Tonight was the first game I caught myself openly rooting for them to lose.

They sucked me in a few times tonight but in the end was the same old thing.

Oh. And Happy Easter Sabres fans!

Dude, didn't you just get married?

As for the game, I expect Boston to run the Sabres out of the building tonight. Could be the ugliest game of the year even though Boston hasn't been tearing it up as of late.

Regier actually said he's talked to all 30 GMs, which means he's talking to himself too.  As bad as this season has been, who could blame him?

Sabres seem to matchup well with the Bruins, they'll be competitive I'll bet.  Maybe the Bruins have an Iggy hangover?

It was good to see Leino roll away the stone yesterday. I'd like to see a few tongues of fire inspiring some of these guys. Even if the season is over, it's still the bruins, and eventually we'll have to rise again.

I always imagined Darcy as the kind of man who mutters to himself when alone, so this revelation didn't shock me. I just like the fact he is now admitting to it

That reminds me, Walking Dead season finale tonight.

Game to watch tonight? Philly and Washington, best case scenario is a Philly win in OT and a Sabres loss in regulation. Go Flyers!

I am all for that... Just hope the Sabres put out their bruisers and leave a Mark on the Bruins usual suspects.  P.S. Bring up McNabb?  Was he up last night?  Honestly wasn't paying much attention to the game.

Why?

Because it hurts us more than it is useful.

We own Boston this season.

Its great ~80% of the board has been lured to Haiti from Dominica, how long before it's 100% I give those with hope some respect for holding on because at this point because what is there still to cling to this season

As promised, I will just keep repeating myself...

I hope they lose this game and every game after it this season.  When they go on their dramatic run for 9th place, Regier stays on, and minimal changes are made in the offseason, don't come crying to me.

I don't think effort has really been a problem thus year, a severe lack of talent has been the main culprit

Bet they addressed the disturbing trend of blowing leads and the seemingly inherent inability to close games out.  One last push to make the playoffs as time is running out. Blah Blah Blah

They'll come out blazing and probably do the same thing AGAIN to blow it in the end. Rinse and Repeat. <_<

Is this the game where Boston re-establishes physical dominance?  It's bound to happen eventually with only John Scott to hold back the tide.

Since it's easter, I'll take the high road and leave out a vanek/GYN problem today, it's so tempting but I'll be back in form if he misses next game.

As for rooting for the Sabres to lose.... don't need to for the next two days. This group of losers has no chance of beating Boston or Pittsburgh. I wouldn't be surprised if one of these teams absolutely blows up on them and wins by like 5.

@SabresStats
Buffalo's 499 penalty minutes this season are the 3rd highest in the NHL. They have been shorthanded more times than another team.
