First game in a while where I think the Sabes really take it to them.

I would start Miller tonight and play Enroth vs. New Jersey. Just because it would mean Miller has no game on the 6th March, 7th March, 8th March and 9th March. Gives him a well needed rest.

It would be nice to see some scoring from the Sabres tonight, you'd think it would have to come soon. Some might think that losing Kaleta, will have no impact, I think he's a bigger part of this team than others, especially on the PK. It's another test to see if the Sabres can get over any hurdles they face. Vanek being in the lineup would be a huge plus. Will we see Enroth tonight or play him against NJ ? Miller may need a break and it should come soon.

Last time Enroth played Carolina he got light up like a christmas tree - do you play him and hope he uses it as motivation or do you not play him for fear of not learning from the past?

After the trash talking that took place Saturday between Miller and Henrique, I'm pretty sure Miller will refuse to miss that game (though a part of me is making that up HOPING our goalie would refuse to sit that game!).

The later.  We have something like four days off next week in between games so the whole team will get a small rest in then.  If we have any chance of making the playoffs we have to continue this winning streak and Miller gives us the best chance to win.

thats actually a sidenote of why I dont want Miller to play in New Jersey. Don't give the Devils a reason to be fired up.

Enroth needs to play tonight, heard miller interview on GR this morning about how he felt his legs giving out during the rangers game and how he's just trying to find any rest he can.

He has already played 4 games in 6 nights and this will make it 5 games in 8 nights. He's playing at a very high level but everyone could see in the shootout miller was just beat tired

I hate when we play the Hurricanes because CenterIce usually only offers the 'canes feed and they have the most annoying announcing team in the entire NHL.  ...gonna have to mute it the whole game...

You've got to think Enroth is on his last life. Fairly or unfairly, if he screws the pooch again he might be done for the season/buffalo

Not surprised, when I was listening to the highlights of their last game when Ward went down, they were talking about how Ellis was supposed to have that night off to rest (or maybe it was an extra day to recover from illness), but he didn't get the night off cause Ward went down and he had to come in. (I thought it was weird they were talking about the backup goalie getting rest/night off)

I guess Buffalo should throw this game, wouldn't want their record to be tainted by only beating teams backup goalies............

thanks, that explains why they mentioned him not getting the start in their last game in the highlights.

The reverse is also true, IMO, therefore, I say Miller plays tonight.  He is playing well and really got his mojo working at the end of the Ranger game.  He also has had a few days rest.

I say Enroth starts the next game.
