Don't say that about the next coach of the Sabres.

It might be interesting to see how Rush mixes up the forward lines.

No way he works with the center. RWs and 90% of the cap on Defense.

No LW.

It's a Rush sort of sport. White ice, white players, lots of snow.

If the world was going to explode....and I had a spaceship that could hold 100 people to save.......Danny Gare would be on my spaceship.

I like to think of him as a mini version of me......Sweetheart....likes the sauce....but if you are an a-hole, he'll jam a stick into your adam's apple.....

I met Danny Gare at Wayne Gretzky's fantasy camp(no I wasn't in the camp) and again at the NHL awards a couple of years ago. The guy is a class act. Genuine nice guy. I would love for him to get more involved with helping this team get where Terry wants them to be.

Careful.  There are people around here that will try to turn this into an owner thread.

This is from Punch Imlach's autobiography, Heaven and Hell in the NHL

(about his being fired by the Sabres) "...I heard that there was a group of players that had gone to Seymour Knox and told him that they wouldn't play for me anymore.  I was told that this group included Craig Ramsey, the team's player representative, Danny Gare, and Jim Schoenfeld." (p.129)

So you're saying Danny is sounding smart? On the odd chance that your third post on a hockey board was designed to be political, you've proven that but phucked up. Take it elsewhere, rookie. This place is for hockey.

Idiot. He said he looked a lot like him, not he sounded like him - stop being one of those people who looks for things to offend or annoy them

Why would any of us acknowledge a post that is, IMO, boarderline trolling?

To me that post was to get dander up and the response, although correct, was what the poster wanted.

On the other hand, I guess we should call the posters out for it.

I had fun with it.  When this board stops becoming entertaining for me, I'll be gone.  There were some creative posts in here.
