February 2006: Thomas Vanek does his patented "'Round the World" move on Dominik Hasek in the shootout and completely freezes him.

Note to Tom: You can bust this move out again sometime.  It's still completely rad.

Was there.  The mood that night was a big f-u Hasek all night and that topped it off.

Was there.  Remember people bitching because they showed the replay on the jumbo before he got up.

Was there. Drury's goal before that was even better. The woman on the jumbo singing along to the Monkey's "I'm a Believer".  The crowd never so loud (even with all the Chet and Muffy's that already left).

We need a Drury Game 5 again.

You know it's a bad season when people begin to reminisce about goals/games in the past... Any how, go Sabres today!
It was fun to watch all of the videos posted. Brought back some great memories.

Someone needs to tweet that to Biron and get him to play it in the locker after a win.

Love this memory:

I was there.   I remember the the sound system playing Clapton's "After Midnight" at 12:05, Chuck Berry's "Reelin and Rockin", and Bill Haley's "Rock Around the Clock".  Kids were sleeping in the arms of standing fathers.

I think Hasek made 70 saves for the shut out.   I've never been able to learn if that's the all time NHL record.

I sat with Stephane Richer at a charity event, years later.  He called Hasek's performance the greatest he'd ever seen; "post to post to post ...  I raised my arms three times thinking I'd scored".

Among my all time favorite evenings.

I was told people called that woman The Sign Lady. Is she still around?
