I was out for lunch today and the song "Layla" was playing.  So of course I really wanted to see if there was a body hanging in their freezer.  This got me thinking about certain songs that are forever connected to movies thanks to a specific scene.  What are some other ones that come to mind for all of you?  Feel free to throw in a youtube clip or two.

Here are the first two that come to mind for me:
1. Goodfellas (obviously)
2. "Stuck in the Middle with You" - Reservoir Dogs

Sorry, I'm too lazy to youtube them.

I guess I now associate Nessun Dorma with Goon rather than with Turandot, which really is kind of a shame when you think about it.

I can't hear Home Sweet Home without thinking of Hot Tub Time Machine. A movie that, like Goon, that was way better than it had any right to be.

Well done.

Oddly enough, whenever I watch Vanishing Point, I think of a video someone made years ago that I can't locate anymore which set a montage to Muse's "Knights of Cydonia". It was fantastic and now I associate Muse with Vanishing Point.
