Went out last year, staying at home, well not MY home but someone's home for a house party.

They've got a basement like Roy's so we're good to DRINK!!!

The wife is sicker than a dog.  At this point I'm hoping I can step out for a bit when she is sleeping and have a few drinks with some friends.  More than likely I am staying in though.

We're just going to hang w/ some friends - nice and casual; nobody needs a DWI to start the new year.

Happy New Year to all (even DeLuca ;)).  Hopefully 2013 will be better than 2012 for all.

Just try to get some, she'll be feigning sleep in no time :P

Personally I hate actually going out on New Years, and luckily most of my friends agree, so we always just hang at somebody's place.  This year it's at a friend's new house up in Tonawanda...unfortunately, it does not have a Roy-like basement to crash in :( .  Hoping to at least get a couch.

Same here... we had plans with two other couples for dinner and drinks at our favorite place, but the bf came down with some kind of food poisoning earlier in the day (he's still recovering), so we stayed in.  At least we could see the Hershey fireworks from his house at midnight.

Friends' townhouse up in the Adirondacks (near Old Forge): snowshoes, food, beer, a couple bars, and midnight sledding with 10 great people.
