I had no idea that Jay was a competitor in this insane sport.   Did anyone go to this?

I watched it on TV Saturday night, didn't know he was in it, must have lost out in the first round Friday night

I was there with a bunch of people on Saturday and it was awesome. I've been following the sport for a few years now and it was great to finally get to an event. The crowds are fun, it's FREE as is just downright impressive. Red Bull knows how to throw a party. There is a women's division that runs too, along with various side shows such as rodeo clown style goalie race and an uphill climb race for a wildcard spot to the finals in Quebec.

I don't think Jay ran at all Saturday but fun to know he's participating. He might be the oldest guy doing it.

That does look like a lot of fun. I can't help but think it's just doing a ski-cross except a lot harder though. Or downhill mountain bike. Or dirt bike up or down hill. You're less likely to get hurt doing those.
