Ive been a long time fan of the amerks and currently a season ticket holder and after this year it just feels like buffalo is neglecting the amerks.

I understand that an AHL team is only exist to train rookies and get them NHL ready but after the weird rash of injuries last season amerks got f$&@ed and buffalo only hired 2 college players to fill the spots.

I'm just worried because during the off season buffalo let a few good amerks players go to the khl and euro leagues and fired jay McKee the assistant coach.

But before last season even started buffalo only hired vets like mike Ryan (who only played 12 games), drew McIntyre, and joe Finley to help out the amerks.

I rather see Buffalo become a great team and win the cup before the amerks but after July 1st darcy should look what's left on free agency for the amerks and let Tpegs money rain.

Sorry about the rant I'm just still pissed Toronto marlies swept the amerks in the first round of the playoffs.

Saw an interview with Darcy where he said vets for Rochester would be a priority in free agency.
Can't remember where but it was within the past week or two.

Look at how awful the Sabres season was last year -  the Sabres are neglecting the SABRES, do you expect them to pay more attention to the Amerks?   LOL

2. I don't think Pardy is better than Ehrhoff, Leopold, Myers, Regehr, Sekera, Sulzer, or Weber.

He might be better than Weber and Sulzer, and I see them keeping 8 D if they don't move someone.  With Brennan's status, I think they move two D.  My bet would be Leopold and Sekera.

And let me add too,  the Sabres had a lot of problems that needed fixing.   The largest payroll in the NHL, and didn't even make the playoffs.   Fixing those problems HAS to take priority over fixing the Amerks.

Those would be my picks as well.  Because 1. they're both good enough to fetch something decent in return and 2. because I want to see what Brennan is capable of in the NHL.  (I guess 3. could be that I want to see if Weber can up his game not that his 'big brother' Ott is on the team.)

Not to Amerks fans who are shitting themselves right now as AHL vets are getting gobbled up left and right.  As a Amerks season ticket holder, it has become discouraging.  I wont renew them if they continue to ignore Rochester.

I agree I just renewed my amerks season tix and they have done nothing yet!

I know that buffalo wants to win a cup but remember all your prospects are down in Rochester learning how to lose!

The only other name I found that would meet half the criteria is Zigomanis.
