There isn't a player on this team I wouldn't trade for a #1 center.  I'd even be open to anyone in Buffalo for Stasny or Staal (if the Sabres could sign him to a multi year contract.)

There is no forward on this team better, and the Defence is pretty deep as long as only one is being subtracted.  As for Miller, yes he can be good but not even close to what the team could add with the subtraction of his salary.

The board will never go anywhere as long as Chz and Corp are still around, and it looks like Scott is in love with them, so they ain't going nowhere. The best we can do is try and stock up on young assets now so the new Mods have something to work with in a couple of years.

Sure, but you have to make changes so it doesn't get stale. Since, as LPF said, those in charge are just fanboys, the mods will stay in place. Though, you might be better served to remove the more "cancerous" parts of the core... As well as the head cases. (interpret who may be either of those at your own will)

I contend that this board may have a taller average height than the Sabres starting Forwards.

Defensively responsible?  No I post first and ask questions later, although I have worked on being more of a 2-way poster.

Move anyone else! Especially if it brings us our #1 center.

#1 center (X), Ennis 2nd line center and Hodgson 3rd line center...love that as a top 3.

I agree with this and what DeLuca said.

While i do think the Sabres have some good young talent on this roster, missing the playoffs as often as they have should not send a signal that stability is needed.

Having said that, let's not become the Rangers of yesteryear and just keep adding high priced veterans, gotta have balance: Aggressive for players like Bobby Ryan, and enough restraint to let players like Hodgson and Ennis develop.
