I'm amazed that people didn't suddenly go after Orpik.. because that's how players are these days. However, you can see Paille almost smiling when gets up. It looks a LOT worse than it is... still, impressive.

This probably should have been in the Around the NHL thread, but that was a sweet hit (even more so because he wasn't injured, IMO). I can't believe Paille just bounced right back up after that.

Nice clean hit. Paille was a good sport about it. As LTS said guys want to fight now days after good hits and its pretty stupid. Heard kessler say the other day that if you are going to throw a big hit good or bad you have to be willing to drop the gloves. Not sure if I agree with that. There's nothing wrong with a good clean hit even if it does hurt someone.

what do they mean "almost hits his head on the ice"?! that thing bounced like a basketball! i bet he's hating life tomorrow.

I'm surprised the NESN crew weren't whining for the next 20 minutes about the lack of an interference penalty.

Yea... freakin homers. I'd rather listen to Sylvester and Gare before Edwards and Brickley.. (that's who does NESN right?)
