Soo...not sure how I got here but here goes. What is the attraction to female breasts? Don't get me wrong, there's no bigger breast man than myself. I'm trying to get to an underlying cause here.

Sexually, at least preconception, they are merely nothing more than toys or handles. Obviously, post conception, they are extreme functional and life sustaining.

So are men hard wired to associate large breasts with life sustainability therefore more sexually attracted to them or is it something different?

I thinkin its the entire package, if you're walking through the woods and see some breasts on a pine tree, its not nearly as enticing, after all, breasts are nothing more than pouches of fat.

Now you throw that same rack on Megan foxs' body and its a different story. You need to paint the entire picture

I saw something about this a couple of years ago on the Discovery Channel. Some British guy was saying that there is no logic. To encourage mankind to continue the species, we're hardwired to be attracted to buxom redheads. Okay, that's just me. But the idea is that we have a built-in instinct to like curves. Has something to do with childbearing. As primates that walked stooped over, the most visible curvy part of a female was the ass. When the species started walking erect - yes, he snickered when he said "erect," we started paying attention to curvy breasts.

Because they're usually covered and somewhat 'taboo' and off-limits. Same with a female rear-end and "other areas". A woman dressed in a sexy dress or neglige that enhances her parts, at least to me, is MUCH sexier than a woman totally nude. It leaves much more to the imagination which enhances our desire. Sort of like teenagers who want to drink BEFORE they're legally of age - the fact that they're prohibited from having it can be a driving force in they're wanting it.

That and the fact that those suckers are almost at eye level ... sometimes I envy Gerbe - I mean they're RIGHT THERE!!

The most logical answer I've seen...

Men want young women because they are the most virile and the most likely to deliver a healthy baby, biologically. The perkiness of a woman's breasts is an easily accessible barometer for youth (thus the push-up bra).

As for the obsession with LARGE breasts? That's a cultural thing that I can't really explain...personally I prefer breasts that are proportional to the body, and can't stand implants.

There really isn't any "why"; you're just attracted to what you're attracted to. Some guys like blonds and some guys like brunettes, but if you asked either guy to explain WHY that is, it pretty much comes down to "that's what I like." At some point, as you get older, you figure out that you like new girls because they remind you of girls you used to know. Part of that is you having a "type" and the other part is you trying to replace something you used to have.

As for breasts, it has way more to do with shape than size.
