The lawsuit filed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania against the NCAA, if it makes it to a decision, could end up creating some interesting case law. Should the courts side with the Commonwealth, the NCAA's ability to sanction any school for the acts of former employees could be called into question. In other words, all a school would need to do is fire the offender, and they'd get off the hook.
