If you guys want a zombie story during the hiatus, and don't mind audio-only, there's a pretty good podcast I've been listening to for a while called We're Alive.  It's like old radio dramas, with a full cast of actors.  Each "chapter" is (usually) split up into 3 parts, around 15-20 minutes each, with 12 chapters per season, and they just finished season 3 (with one more planned).

Cool tip. I'm going to listen to one of them while I'm trail-walking after dark tonight. Probably will end up pissing my pants.

I think my kid's new medicine is turning her into a walker.  When she gets mad she acts just like Penny.

What happened to AMC showing a complete Walking Dead series marathon? Now they'll only be showing season 3? Oh well, plenty of college football to enjoy today.

I just went to the IMDB page for the show and noticed the poster they're using for the upcoming second half of the season.  Can't wait!

I didn't really love last nights episode.  I like it better when they are on the run with Zombies all around.  Based on previews of next week, I'll get my wish.

Hows everyone liking the second half thus far? I enjoyed the reprieve from the Governor  story-line last week, it was starting to wear on me a bit.

I was wondering when Morgan was going to show up again. He's still 'Hawkins' from Jericho to me though.

The last episode also refreshed me. It was along the lines of the early episodes that got so many hooked on the show.

I only started watching about a month ago, and sped through the first two and a half seasons on Netflix and iTunes, but last week was the best show in a while -- perhaps since that Woodbury theme popped up.

It's about time they developed Michonne's character a bit; the "silent, staring, zombie killer" thing was getting old.

I've been thinking about bumping it too.  It's odd how little talk there has been going into the start of this season.  All of that prison hype from last year and now nothing.

Loved the craft beer product placement in the scene with the zombies falling through the roof.  A lot of cases of Sweetwater and Terrapin beers getting smashed by falling zombies.

Is there a greater example of a red shirt than that kid who went on the run?  I'm not quite sure if the kid with the Harry Potter glasses fits that label or not, but at least he's about to unleash a bit of trouble.

Whats with that ? Is there some sort of plague ( other than the zombie thing ) ? How did that kid die ? And the pig ? Swine flu ?

Makes me nervous for Daryl too.  He was licking his fingers both before and after he shook the kid's hand. Good episode, with lots of foreshadowing (I suspect).

On an unrelated note, I was very surprised to find out that the season premiere had almost twice as many viewers as the final episode of Breaking Bad.
